Josie's Dragonfly Trust
Dedicated to Brightening the Lives of Children & Teenagers with Cancer.
Josie Madeline Grove designed the Dragonfly Pendant in the last month of her
life in the hope that she could make a difference to the children and friends
with Cancer that she was leaving behind. Josie had Acute Myeloid Leukemia and
died in 2007 after a long battle and two bone marrow transplants, aged just
16.
The first Dragonfly samples arrived just 4 days before Josie died and she was
absolutely thrilled with them. Through the Dragonfly Pendant Josie’s strength
courage and happiness lives on and she continues to inspire many thousands of
people all over the world.
Josie’s Dragonfly Trust makes a huge and real difference to children in cancer
hospitals across the UK and especially to children & teenagers, where treatment
is no longer considered curative.
Silver items start from 17 pounds and include a 5 pound donation to Josie’s
Dragonfly Trust. Gold items are also available which include a 20 pound
donation. The charity also relies heavily on fundraising and donations.

why god.
The first thing that I asked God
was just the reason why
when he took my precious daughter
beyond the stars in the sky
as we held on to her body
I then started to scream and shout
was this God so really kind
as people were making out
but my anger then turned to sadness
as we held her in our arms
she was still our beautiful daughter
truly an angel with all her charms
it was then I started to wonder
as my eyes filled up to cry
was my angel needed elsewhere

I am sorry sorry to Josies family for her loss i lost a ver very very special brother to cancer this year and it has been very hard because i watched him sadly fade away and that memory will never leave me, my little sister has had the same form of cancer as Josie and fingers crossed all is well at the moment it is such a hard thing to go though but i am so so sorry for the loss of Josie xx i will deffo look into this draonfly thing xx you have my support xx
